The Immortal Wars

The world is at an end. Life that once was is now diminished into nothing. The world is a barren wasteland that has slowly begun to decay. Yet within the shadows there are those who still crawl among the earth. Though they aren’t what they seem to be. They have been called many things throughout the ages-since the beginning of time and far into the present day-before the earths destruction. Though they are more commonly known to be as vampires. Though they did not start off like this-these creatures once used to be human-a long time ago. Before the downfall of earth-before the crumble and fall of humanity life was very full and beautiful. Though dark plots were starting to form deep within the shadows. A man by the name of Dr. Marcus Flannigan was conducting experiments to create a more powerful human-someone who would be able to crush cities and rule with an iron fist. A human so strong and powerful that it would take army’s just to defeat one of them. But his experiments went horribly wrong. He was working on a very powerful supplement that would help strengthen the tissue within the human body-to help make it stronger-faster-heal quicker and above all outlive a normal human life. But little did he know what his experiments would turn into. One of his test subjects went on a rampage throughout the lab and released the toxin that would be used to create this new human breed, and it spread. Starting off slowly at first and finally it spread throughout the country, and finally the rest of the world. Dr. Flannigan died…and so did the rest of the humans…or…so we thought. Those who did not die from the exposure turned into something completely different. Something that no one had ever dreamed could be possible. Humans that were able to possess the toxin without dying did indeed turn into supreme beings, but not the kind that Dr. Flannigan predicted. These creatures were fast-faster then anything imaginable-they were also very strong-capable of doing far more then the strongest man alive. They healed quickly if injured, and lived long spans of time without aging. There however was a flaw in the programming. These creatures were very sensitive to sunlight-and craved blood often. Thus creating a creature that people believed were never real-what fairy tales believed would be called vampires. Not created from darkness, but from an experiment gone wrong.

Two colonies made up of these strong creatures resided in the United States-one living in Los Angeles, California. While the other lived in Washington. Though they lived close-they were separated by a large conflict. Those that lived in California were known as the Sanguis-they craved power-perfection-and wanted to make even stronger vampires. They would do anything to get rid of those that stood in their way to get what they wanted. And those that lived in Washington were known as Mortas. They were the ones who tried to fight to find a cure to end this horrible curse that had befallen them, and wanted to try and restore human life to earth. The two clans fought for centuries-more and more dying-all life on earth nearly extinct. But a plot was beginning to form-a plot to end the violence and try and find a solution. There were those on both sides that were willing to stand together and find a cure. But there are even more plots that are beginning to twist and form together. Will there be a solution to all this destruction? Or will a much bigger problem arise from within the shadows?
